This content is aimed toward all levels of nurses and nursing students (PN, ASN, BSN, APRN/SRNA & other graduate programs), physicians, medical students, interns, physician assistant students, and physician assistants.

Key Technical Requirements:

- The OrientPro online orientation is best viewed using Chrome or Firefox. Chrome and Firefox are available for PC, MAC, and Android operating systems. Links to download these browsers are on the Technical Requirements link.
- The site occasionally uses popup windows to create interactivity. Please allow this content when prompted.
- Adobe Acrobat Reader is required for all handouts.
- Review the Technical Requirements Link on the menu – especially if you encounter difficulty in viewing this orientation content!
Common Issues related to your computer setup:

- You click on a screen and it is blank. Check to see if you have PopUps blocked in your browser. The Technical Requirements link has a guideline on how to unblock PopUps in common web browsing tools and plugins.
- Your score on an orientation quiz does not register and shows “In Progress” even though you have completed the quiz. The quiz management system requires your browser to have a solid internet connection rather than using a public WIFI location.
Getting Help:
A GET HELP link is on every page of the orientation content on the menu at the top right of the screen. Use this link to request technical assistance.
There are 5 content areas that all healthcare professionals must review each year. To review the multimedia content click on each topic picture below. The multimedia content opens in a new window, so just close the window when you complete the content. Click on the next content area to continue. You will document your completion of General Orientation by taking an online quiz.
To take your quiz, you will first need to set up your individual QUIZ Username/Password in the Quiz Management System(QMS). Basic instructions for this activity were included in the handout you received from your instructor. Another more detailed version with pictures is also available! Write your username/password down – you will use it again when you complete facility-specific orientations this academic year! Do NOT set up multiple accounts to take additional facility quizzes!

On this trip to the QMS, you will complete an agreement and a quiz. Write these titles down:
TCPS FERPA & Confidentiality Agreement AY 2022-2023: On your first trip to the QMS you will see this agreement as your first option in the Quiz and Attestation Catalog. These documents may be previewed using the Related Handouts link from the OrientPro menu above if desired. This document is digitally signed and is required each academic year to continue with any quiz or attestation in the system. Once you have signed this document, you are ready to take your General Orientation Quiz.
Nursing, MD, & PA General Orientation Quiz AY 2022-2023: There are 25 total questions with 5 from each of the content modules. To pass the quiz, you need a score of 88%. You may take the quiz as often as necessary to pass. Once you pass the quiz, your score will be documented and further attempts to improve your score will NOT be recorded. Your completion will be recorded within the TCPS system and you will have an opportunity to print a completion certificate.
Remember: You must use either Chrome or Firefox as your browser to take any quizzes! See the Technical Requirements link above if you need assistance in downloading these free browsers.
